Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Estates team at Stepping Hill Hospital.We are seeking a highly motivated, appropriately skilled, reliable and enthusiastic Plumber/Mechanical Engineer that is able to work well under pressure to carry out plumbing/mechanical maintenance within a hospital environment.
The post is at Stepping Hill Hospital but you may be asked to work at other sites within the Trust.
Experience working in an Acute Hospital maintenance environment would be an advantage, as would familiarity with large commercial/industrial estates.You will be part of a multi trade team delivering a quality service to support patient services within the Trust.

The post holder will be required to undertake rostered overtime.

The postholder will be employed on plumbing maintenance work appropriate to their core skills throughout Stockport NHS Foundation Trust premises comprising mainly Stepping Hill Hospital and Devonshire Unit.

HNC/ONC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of Health & Safety and Risk Management Techniques
