Workday Finance Project ManagerResponsibilities:


  • Oversees project teams, work streams, quality management, project financial management, and the methods, standards and guidelines for the project. ?
  • Executes daytoday project leadership in collaboration with the PM?
  • Responsible along with the PM for the overall programme plan?
  • Responsible for ensuring that the project is executed in a way that will meet business objectives?
  • Managing the availability of resources?
  • Responsible for coordinating with other projects?
  • Reporting on status and escalating issues to Steering Committee?
  • Establishes the programme organisation and programme RACI?
  • Manages cutover activities and plan alongside Deloitte PM?
  • Will chair the Design Authority?

Profile

Workday Finance Project Manager WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:

  • Strong experience of systems implementation experience
  • Must have experience of implementing Workday Financials
  • Must possess expert knowledge of financial processes and controls
  • Strong project management experience with a PMP preferred
  • Prior experience with other ERP Implementations within Financial Services.
  • Experience on large scale transformation programs
  • Wider PM experience (beyond ERP) is also useful

TECHINICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:


  • A solid understanding of at least one ERP or accounting system
  • Strong understanding of core finance and business processes from a systems and business point of view e.g. procuretopay, ordertocash, recordtoreport, multicompany consolidation
  • Demonstrable and excellent client and stakeholder skills
  • Experience in shaping, leading, and developing a project and delivery management capability
  • Ideally a recognised accounting qualifications such as CIMA, ATT, ACA, ACCA
  • Other IT project/programme management experience
  • Experience in managing thirdparty teams and vendors as part of an overall project
  • Experience working for a consultancy
  • A recognised project and/or programme management qualification (e.g. MSP, Prince2, Agile PM)
