About the Role
Visible Alpha is adding a new Sales Representative to London Sales team. You are highly motivated and excel at selling SaaS services into financial institutions. An understanding of capital markets - specifically equity research is a plus.
What You'll Do
- Generate new business revenue selling SaaS / Financial Services products to buyside investment.
- Network and build relationships with the investment industry
- Drive the full salescycle, including initial pitch and demonstration, managing multiuser trials, and contract negotiation.
- Work effectively with colleagues and team members to communicate customer needs, product enhancement opportunities, and competitive gaps
- Collaborate with marketing to drive strategy around generating brand awareness and new business
Who You Are
- Sales experience selling/closing sellside fundamental research, data, or analytics to the Institutional Asset Management, Hedge Fund, Investment Banking space
- Strong financial knowledge and understanding of the investment research process on the buyside
- Product experience in data & analytical solutions focused on equity capital markets required; experience with data & analytics used in equity research a plus.
- Desire to sell bottomup (userbyuser) and topdown (C-Level). Motivated by bottomup selling with comfort in managing C-Level conversations.
- History of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- BA/BS Degree; CFA, or desire to obtain the CFA designation, a plus but not required
