    Our core client base consists of Accountancy Practices ranging from Big 4, Top 10 & Mid-Tier firms through to independent regional firms and sole traders.

    Accounts Manager

    Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading regional firm of chartered accountants in Cambridge who are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team.

    As an Accounts Manager, your role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of clients which will include a mix of limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships as well as some international clients.

    Your role will be focused on the review of statutory accounts and tax compliance primarily but will also see you working with senior managers and partners to provide business advisory services.

    Aside from the client management aspect of the role, you will be responsible for managing and assisting in the development of junior staff which will include providing support to them where necessary and reviewing their work.

    The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified with strong and varied general practice experience.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to join a distinguished and leading firm of chartered accountants in Cambridge where there will be genuine scope for further career development into senior management.

    Managing a portfolio of clients and taking responsibility for ensuring their accounts, corporate tax & VAT returns and any ad-hoc reporting is prepared to a high standard and on a timely basis
    Reviewing work prepared by accounts associates/trainees
    Developing and appraising junior members of the team
    Make billing decisions for client portfolio
    ACCA / ACA Qualified
