    Description

    Are you a Product Design Engineer who combines a creative nature and a desire for variety with a generalist skillset that can design lots of different products from lots of different materials? We are currently recruiting an additional Product Design Engineer to work closely with the Management Team and design products customers will love to buy.

    As Product Design Engineer you have some client involvement (taking their requirements in initial brief calls) and regular liaison with manufacturing (you'll see the products you design being manufactured not long after you've finished the design work) Product Design Engineer – Role and Responsibilities – Product Design / SolidWorks / Adobe Suite / Sketchup / Furniture

    • Supporting the production teams throughout the build process with problem-solving solutions and your CAD skills
    • Take ideas and nurture them right from the start and through to production, working with various design and production teams along the way
    • You have strong research abilities that accompany your project designs, providing support and in-depth details where required
    Product Design Engineer – Skills and Abilities – Product Design / SolidWorks / Adobe Suite / Sketchup / Furniture

    • Previous Product Design experience is essential
    • A creative mindset, able to think of practical solutions to bring client expectations to reality
    • Proficiency with SolidWorks, MS Office, Adobe Suite and Sketchup
    • Design skills which take into account available production capability and final use of the product while working to budget
    • Able to multi-task on several projects simultaneously
