This role is office based in Harwell, Oxfordshire for a minimum of 3 days per week

Job Details:


As the Assistant Demand Planner you will manage and optimise intake and stock across channels, supporting with planning and forecasting to bring the right stock into the business to grow sales and minimise risk.

You will also be responsible for managing intake logistics through to receipt by DC.


Day to Day Responsibilities:

Responsible for efficient and timely intake of stock into business

  • SAP set up and management
  • Ensure system accuracy for future PO dates
  • Proactively report and communicate product intake and delays into business
  • Liaise with 3PL to ensure efficient booking and receipting of stock
  • Assist, where necessary, the Demand Planning managers to ensure all Footwear, Apparel/ Accessory purchase orders are placed with the US team in agreed timeframes.
Responsible for best use of stock across channels

  • Proactively reports and communicates product availability issues and opportunities to the business
  • Optimise stock usage across B2B/ D2C channels, maximising stock availability to sales opportunities/ business requirements.
Support Forecasting

  • Maintain forecasting documents as required
  • Create regular reporting to provide insight to the business.
  • Progress own development, maximising on the job training opportunities to understand beginning to end product process.
  • Push to own designated parts of product range.
  • Participate in calls and build relationships with appropriate US planning partners
Other

  • Build relationships with US team as appropriate to further key accountabilities.
  • To assist in adhoc projects as required.

About You:


  • Strong Excel and Microsoft office
  • Use of SAP
  • Experience manipulating large data sets
  • Exceptional Organisational and time management skills
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Strong Teamwork
  • Analytical and Presentation skills
  • Customer Service skills
  • 3+ years Retail experience in similar environment
  • Experience in wholesale, retail and ecommerce
  • Experience in Footwear and Apparel
  • Experience of consumer fashion products
  • Numerate and commercial
  • Articulate communicator
  • A level or equivalent
  • Relevant Degree preferred
