    English Key Stage Coordinator

    About the School:

    They are a reputable secondary school in Redbridge committed to providing a supportive and enriching educational environment for our students.

    As part of our dedication to academic excellence and holistic development, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English Key Stage Coordinator to join our team.

    Implement and oversee the delivery of the Key Stage English curriculum, including the development of policies, plans, and targets.


    Academic:
    Monitor the teaching of Key Stage English lessons, ensuring alignment with approved schemes of work.
    Provide support, challenge, and development opportunities to enhance teaching quality and motivation.
    Review and update departmental policies to align with school objectives.
    Promote the English subject within the school community.
    Oversee behaviour management in line with departmental policy.
    Evaluate teaching quality and student achievement, setting improvement targets as needed.


    Operational/Strategic Planning:
    Contribute to the department's development plan and its implementation.
    Collaborate with senior management to ensure teaching quality aligns with strategic objectives.
    Engage in whole Academy planning activities to support continuous improvement.
    Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching English at the secondary level.
    Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with educational best practices.
