Job Title:
- Finance Assistant - (3 month temporary contract)


Salary:
-£23,000


Location:
- Manchester City Centre

What does the role involve?
The company is looking for a hard-working individual who can support the day-to-day running of the finance team.

**Responsibilities include: Managing Cash**- Posting bank transactions to tenants and supplier accounts

  • Daily & monthly bank reconciliations
  • Paying rental deposits to Deposit Protection Scheme
  • Setting up direct debits with the bank
  • Collecting monthly direct debits
  • Making payments to landlords

Managing debtors accounts

  • Raising sales invoices for the group, (excl commercial activities)
  • Chasing payment for non
- residential and commercial debtors


Purchase ledger transactions

  • Cover for the Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk during holiday periods
  • Ad hoc purchase ledger assistance as and when required
  • Managing workload on a daily, weekly & monthly basis

Who would be the right fit?

  • At least 1 years' experience in a previous finance position
  • Excellent telephone manner, confidence, and strong communication skills
  • Must be dynamic and proactive
  • Strong team working skills
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent ability to use initiative, problem solve and resolve issues
  • Resilient and commuted individual, able to operate in a fast paced and challenging environment
