    Registered Manager for Learning Disability Home

    Driving License Required:
    Yes, a manual license is required, however own vehicle is not essential.
    Experience working within a Residential Children's Care Home?
    Experience within a Learning Disabilities environment?

    Absolute Health and Care are currently supporting one of our clients with their recruitment for their Residential Children's Care Homes, they have a number of homely and welcoming homes across the Northwest and Midlands.

    The homes range in size from 2 to 5 beds, with the ages of the children ranging from 6 to 18.

    They put their young people at the heart of the company and specialise in supporting Children and Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect or abuse and may display challenging behaviours.

    The Registered Manager will have a great opportunity to help shape the development of this brand new service, from the design of the home right through to how the Children and Young People are cared for.

    This new home will house 8 young people aged between 8 to 18.

    You will lead the team to deliver high quality care to young people, making sure that all risks are safely managed and mentor, guide and evaluate performance of the team.

    Ensure that all compliance is aligned with policies and procedures. Keeping all children's records up to date and manage the home finances. You would be expected to attend staff meetings to support in developing and improving the service model. Working with young people, using positive support strategies and techniques.
