Job overview
A senior STT CNS role in colo-rectal , main role to Co-ordinate the STT service.
The post holder will assist in the delivery of high quality STT colorectal services throughout the Trust. Working alongside other clinical and nursing colleagues to provide expert care and support for this patient group.
The post holder will contribute to advancing the body of knowledge through education, research and audit as well as developing practice. They will play a key role within the multidisciplinary gastro and colorectal team to ensure a seamless, coordinated, and timely approach to care.
To facilitate triaging & assessment of the STT colorectal referrals with the requesting of appropriate investigations within the endoscopy and radiology unit. To facilitate STT colorectal results clinics which will allow for the downgrading of STT colorectal patients off 2ww pathway. Facilitating monthly STT colorectal meetings with annual audit of the STT Colorectal service.
