Work Experience and Employer Engagement Coordinator
40 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (Full Time / Part Year)


£25, £30,108.34 per annum (Actual Salary £22,752 to £26,416)

starting salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience

Working across Glasshouse College, Stourbridge and Argent College, Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham**We are seeking to appoint a Work Experience and Employer Engagement Co-ordinator with the drive and determination to identify and engage a range of suitable employers and organisations to secure meaningful work experience provision and placements for students. In addition you would work with the Education, Health and Care Manager's to identify and secure work related destinations in line with student aspirations.


You will be responsible for identifying, building and maintaining outstanding relationships with appropriate work experience providers to maximise sustainable pathways into work for our students.

This is a newly created and crucial role that will help to realise the ambitious vision of the college in meeting the hopes and aspirations of the young people that we serve.


Applicants for this post must have experience of working with young people and vulnerable adults with special needs, challenging behaviours and mental health difficulties.

You must possess excellent interpersonal, customer service and relationship building skills and be able to build highly effective relationships with both internal and external employers and other key stakeholders.
