    JCR Group Limited T/A Bodyswaps and The College of Computing at Birmingham City University (BCU) are looking for an enthusiastic **Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate** in the exciting field of Generative AI and Large Language Models.

    This opportunity involves joining a cutting-edge project to develop advanced communication skills training simulations using AI technology and language models. The goal is to enhance trainees' conversational abilities by allowing them to interact with realistic AI avatars in customizable scenarios and receive personalized feedback for improvement.

    The **AI Engineer KTP Associate** will work in collaboration between the business and the university, benefitting from a personal development budget to enhance skills during the project.

    As the chosen candidate, you will work closely with leading academics to implement technical innovations on-site at Bodyswaps. The role requires a strong educational background in a relevant field and familiarity with Generative AI and Large Language Models.

    Main activities and responsibilities include:

    • Understanding the organization's needs and aligning them with project objectives
    • Developing and integrating ML models for VR/AR environments
    • Training ML models with datasets
    • Collaborating with diverse teams to create customizable training simulations
    • Optimizing Large Language Models for performance
    • Staying updated on the latest advancements in LLMs, Multimodality, and VR/AR technologies
    • Managing various operations for the project lifecycle
    • Conducting knowledge-sharing workshops

    Skills and experience:

    **Essential:**

    • Master's degree or PhD in computing or related field
    • Experience in GenAI and Large Language models implementation
    • Proficiency with ML frameworks like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
    • Knowledge of data pre-processing and model evaluation
    • Skills in network APIs and version control tools
    • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React/Vue and Typescript
    • Experience with Large Language Models is a must

    Desirable:

    • Unity experience, particularly in character animation
    • Familiarity with Vector Databases and cloud computing platforms
    • Previous involvement in projects related to LLMs or GenAI for VR/AR
    • Utilization of Design Thinking and workshop facilitation

    • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Team collaboration and problem-solving capabilities
    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Proactive approach and self-motivation
    • Interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders
    • Ability to apply knowledge effectively in commercial projects
