    About the Job:

    In this role as the Principal / Lead Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to join a Fin-Tech Start Up that is on a mission to revolutionize the way businesses manage their finances. By partnering with a PE backed company, we are ready to take the next step in our growth journey.

    If you are an experienced and agnostic Lead Engineer, we want you to be part of our team whether you choose to work remotely or in our London office. Your main task will be to build a high performing team that will contribute to the development of new features and products.


    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with different teams to create innovative features and products
    • Develop new web application features using templates and standard protocols
    • Work on backend services development
    • Follow best engineering practices like CI/CD, QA, and code reviews
    • Perform acceptance testing

    Minimum Experience:
    • Strong background using Object-Oriented languages such as Python or .Net
    • Experience deploying to AWS, Azure, or GCP
    • Design complex data processing systems
    • Work on high load web applications
    • Experience with Microservice Architecture and Asynchronous web frameworks
    • Skilled in writing clear code and conducting code reviews
    • Willingness to learn new coding languages

    Nice to Have:
    • Experience with FastAPI and other frameworks + libraries
    • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
    • Previous experience in a start-up environment
    • Background in the fin-tech industry or other highly regulated sectors
