Key Responsibilities

Development of reliability strategies for business planning
Delivery of network performance improvement plans
Production of reliability-related regulatory returns
Trade body and regulatory working group representation
Input to industry reviews by Department of Energy Security and Ofgem

Technical knowledge of reliability metrics
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications and Attributes

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Chartered engineer status
Comprehensive understanding of electricity network reliability metrics
Experience in information gathering and consultation processes
Previous utility environment management experience

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

Data analytics experience in a regulatory setting
Leadership and team management experience
Knowledge of utility regulation and regulatory datasets
Track record in supporting electricity network reliability policy
Understanding of legal obligations in asset management
Experience with enhanced analytical tools like Power BI
Network operations experience in LV/HV/EHV systems
