    Permanent Night Veterinary Nurse - Dorchester, Dorset

    We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Dorchester for a Permanent Night Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

    The practice is looking for an empathetic and ambitious RVN who has good experience working in a small animal practice. The role will involve all aspects of nursing and you will be prepared to develop your skills by collaborating with the wider team. You will perform your nursing duties with confidence to provide the gold standard of care to the practice's loyal clients by assisting vets in surgical procedures. The practice has a good surgical and medical caseload so you will be able to fully utilise your skills. Your main duties will involve anaesthesia, inpatient care, assisting in the operating theatre, and nurse clinics.

    The role is part time for 5 nights on and 9 nights off with shifts from 6:45pm to 7am, working an average of 25.63 hours per week. The working rota will be Wednesday night to Sunday night every other week.

    • Team: 9 vets, 9 RVNs, 2 SVNs and a supportive non-clinical team

    Package :

    • Salary: Up to £24,050 per annum, commensurate to experience
    • Holidays: 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays pro rata
