Permanent Head Veterinary Nurse - Somerton, Somerset
We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Somerton for a Permanent Head Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
The practice is looking for an empathetic and ambitious RVN who has extensive experience working in a small animal practice. The role will involve all aspects of nursing and you will be prepared to develop your skills by collaborating with the wider team. You will perform your nursing duties with confidence to provide the gold standard of care to the practice's loyal clients by assisting vets in surgical procedures. You must have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Your main duties will involve leading the nursing team, managing the day-to-day running of the practice, general nursing duties, in-patient care, assisting in the operating theatre, and consulting.
The role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, along with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings with time off in lieu. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
