Main duties of the job The role of the research nurse is to assist in the support of clinical studies working within the multi- disciplinary team. The post holder will take responsibility for the coordination and management of clinical studies/trials covering a broad clinical research portfolio. Responsibilities will include education of patients and colleagues about studies being undertaken, participant recruitment, coordination of the care of patients in research studies, collection and preparation of biological samples, collection and input of study data.
