A BSc. Hon graduate in Pharmacology and a healthcare professional with over 8+ years experience working in various strategic operational and programme management roles within the public healthcare sector. 

During my career I have work collaboratively with senior healthcare leaders and regulators and have led a number business transformation, process optimisation, service redesign and governance projects to improve operational excellence in service delivery within medical workforce . My experience has enable me to gain a good understanding of some of the challenges and innovation within the healthcare sector.

Programme Manager/Operations Officer – Medical Workforce Education and Training.

08/2021 – Present. 

• Overseeing all operational aspects of recruitment, placement, medical education and training of doctors across London,  Kent, Surrey and Sussex training schemes.

• Working collaboratively with senior healthcare leaders, professional bodies and regulators in delivery of doctors training.  

  programme and curriculum including annual review and audit of clinical competencies and progression.

Medical Workforce Advisor (Team Lead), 05/2018 - 07/2021 

  • Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer, Responsible Officer and Corporate Medical Directors and leading in all aspects of Job Planning, Appraisal and Revalidation of  Medical and Dental Practitioners .
  •  Providing expert advice on Medical and Dental workforce issues including local policies and national terms and condition of service.
  • Providing strategic support with services redesign projects and governance aimed at improving clinical services pathways, performance, patient safety and cost reduction.
  • Responsible for the oversight and management of  electronic medical appraisal, rota planning and revalidation systems including writing business case for procurement, contract negotiations, processing invoice, system configuration and optimisation.
  • Undertaking regular audit on doctors rota and annual appraisal documentation to ensure compliance with national guidelines.
  • Working collaboratively with medical workforce Information and data analyst team in consolidating data from multiple reporting systems to provide comprehensive analysis and report of medical workforce productivity and performance.
