    KS1 Teaching Assistant


    Job title:

    Location:
    North Tyneside

    Hours:8:30 - 3:30pm


    Salary:
    £83 - £120 per day


    Are you ready to kickstart your career in education? Look no further- We are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants at mainstream Primary schools in North Tyneside.

    Come and join our dedicated and enthusiastic team. Previous experience is desired but not essential.

    GSL Education is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school in North Tyneside.

    This is a good school known for the strong values they have and the care they show both staff and pupils alike.

    The school is centrally located, easy to reach by both car or public transport .

    The successful candidate will be available to work Monday to Friday Term time only - hours of (phone number removed)pm.

    The Teaching Assistant Role

    You will engage with children and enforce positive behaviour
    You will Support teaching and Learning within the class
    Assisting with preparation, planning and marking if required
    Taking small groups for interventions - for example Maths or Phonics


    Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing the classroom and clearing away after class to ensure effective teaching can take place.

    Available to work Monday to Friday Term time only - hours of (phone number removed)pm
    Requirements of the role

    Positive approach to working with children and the ability to motivate, inspire and build rapport.
    An enhanced DBS on the update service OR the willingness to complete an immediate application

    The ability to challenge children when they display negative behaviour and become reluctant learners.
    Be a qualified level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or have other relevant experience ( care, family member support, Youth work etc )

    RTW in the UK and a fully checkable work history
