- Set up and maintain a welcoming base room for children, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment storage
- Implement policies for a safe and enjoyable environment for children
- Adhere to daily activity schedules to deliver promised diverse sessions
- Collaborate with the staff team for session delivery
- Provide active supervision and attention to children's needs throughout the day
- Plan and execute age-appropriate activities with enthusiasm
- Encourage maximum participation and personalize activities based on children's interests
- Ensure general welfare and safety
- Safely use provided equipment and ensure proper storage
- Experience or qualifications in child care
- Minimum age of 18 at contract start
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Positive, caring, organized, with strong communication skills
- Ability to handle unforeseen challenges in child care
- Enhanced DBS check or existing one on the Update Service
- Attendance at Virtual Assessment Event for new staff
- Completion of Annual Online Training and Induction Training Day
- Assist with end-of-camp procedures
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance
- Organize appropriate activities for children
- Monitor children's behavior and uphold safety standards
- Follow camp systems and guidelines, and support colleagues
- Be a positive role model promoting healthy habits and welfare
- Report any Child Protection concerns to the designated authorities
- Accommodate children with additional needs and medical conditions
- May be required to conduct Skills Builder sessions based on staff availability
- Support swimming sessions if needed
- Perform varied tasks as per organizational requirements

Working Hours: 08.30 – 17:30
Salary: £412.00 – £559.17 per week depending on age, experience, and qualifications (Contracts for February Half Term 2023 will be based on 2023 wage levels. 2024 wage levels effective from April 1st.)
Reporting to: Camp Senior Team, Area Manager, and Central Office. Barracudas prioritizes safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young individuals, expecting all staff to embrace this commitment.
