    Description

    Astute's Power team is partnering with an energy provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability to recruit for a Electrical Project Engineer to help develop sustainable projects in the Biomass, Waste and Renewable sectors.

    The Electrical Project Engineer role comes with a salary of £45,000, pension contribution and flexible working.

    Design and engineer electrical distribution systems for various applications, including grid-scale installations, commercial and industrial facilities, and renewable energy projects.

    Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and economic analyses to evaluate the viability of energy generation & storage projects.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and technicians, to ensure seamless integration of systems into existing infrastructure.

    Perform system modelling, simulation, and optimization to maximize the performance and efficiency of energy generation & storage systems.

    Stay updated with the latest advancements in technologies, regulations, and industry best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

    Support project development activities, including site visits, data analysis, and preparation of technical reports and proposals.
    Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
    Proven experience in the design, engineering, and implementation of power generation solutions.
    Proficiency in system modelling and simulation software, such as MATLAB, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
