    Working for a dynamic engineering business supporting multiple projects within naval marine engineering.
    This position is due to ongoing business growth.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Project Coordinator is an integral role within the Programmes delivery team, responsible for the production, upkeep, integration and maintenance of all internal and external Projects' Schedules within the full Contract and Bid phases of the business portfolio.

    Working closely with the Production team, the Project Coordinator will generate, maintain and integrate the Production and Manufacturing in-house activities related to the Projects' products and services, into the Project Schedules, via integrated Production Schedules.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·Delivery: Performing the Delivery Planning and associated customer reporting duties of Project Delivery schedules. The role will integrate the Production and Supply Chain activities to relay Level-1, Level-2 schedules into the Customer base. The Project coordinator will also be responsible for the production and routine maintenance/updating of internal schedules, using critical path planning, sensitivity analyses and "what if scenarios" for management determination, and high level resource planning to balance future demands and high level capacity planning purposes.

    Performing the planning activities of the suite of MST's projects, with the support of theensuring on time submissions to meet the customer's delivery schedule and budget.

    ·Programme reporting and Management Information:

    Required Attributes, Qualifications and Skills: locations and Skills:

    ·A proven track record with a minimum 2 years' experience of planning for safely and securely delivering programmes/projects (ideally from a regulated industry)

    ·Knowledge and experience in scheduling Production and Manufacturing activities in such an industrial environment, would be highly desirable.

    ·Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

    ·A relevant Technical or Engineering qualification or equivalent, with Project and Programme Management skills and/or qualifications (e.g. APM Standards).

    ·Knowledge of PM techniques, such as Earned Value Management (EVM), Risk Management, Project Financial Accounting are highly desired. Scheduling using MSP or Primavera scheduling tools/IT packages etc, will be essential.

    This position can be based on a hybrid working arrangement

    Salary depending on experience / qualifications / industry exposure - circa £45-60K
