Description
Trilogic Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well established, leading childcare provider in the Thames Valley area. They provide care to children ages 3 months - 5 years old across five locations.

They are looking for a Room Leader and Deputy Manager to join the team.

This position is located in Henley-On-Thames, Oxfordshire.

The nursery is open from 7.30am - 6pm, you will be working 40 hours a week.

Salary - Depending on Experience

  • From £20,500 up to £26,500.
Your responsibilities will be shared between Room Leader and Deputy Manager duties.


Your key Responsibilities will be:

  • Work closely with the manager to ensure the safety and well being of all children in the manager's care, resulting in the total avoidance of preventable accidents and promoting a feeling of security and satisfaction amongst all parents.
  • Manage the staff at Nursery level to ensure morale is kept high within the nursery team.
  • To manage stock control ensuring budgets are adhered to.
  • Carry out the duties of the manager in his or her absence and use own initiative to carry out any other duties required for the smooth running of the nursery.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care resulting in the total avoidance of preventable accidents and promoting a feeling of security and satisfaction amongst all parents.
  • Caring for the all round daily needs of the children to enhance their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.
  • Supervise all staff within your room to ensure high standards are constantly achieved.
  • Contribute effectively to the team maintaining a high level of communication throughout the whole nursery.

Requirements:


  • Level 2 or 3 Qualification held.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each individual child
  • Knowledge of the EYFS [ Early Years Foundation Stage ]
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection + other legislative requirements.
