Job summary:


The analysis and engagement function brings together a range of professions, including economists, geographers and social researchers, to produce analysis, evidence and research.

This analysis and insight is used to inform better decision-making across Homes England and wider Government and to build better relationships with partners across the built environment.


Job description:


Participants on our Graduate Programme will develop their strategic thinking, problem solving, project management, leadership and relationship building skills whilst undertaking placements within their chosen profession.

Day to day, depending on your chosen profession you could be acquiring or disposing of land, providing investment for infrastructure or working collaboratively with our partner organisations.

From day one, you will have ownership and responsibility for your own projects / work.


You will be supported by your placement manager; have a buddy and you will be empowered to take ownership of your own learning and development including having access to a coach or mentor.

Towards the end of the programme, we will support you to obtain a role aligned to your career aspirations and organisational needs.


This placement involves supporting the team in developing and gathering high quality market intelligence, strategic research, geospatial analysis and economic assessment to help inform, shape and drive the Agency's activity.

Key skills integral to this profession include communication, engagement with both internal and external stakeholders, research and analysis capabilities, expertise in economic appraisal and evaluation techniques, spatial data analysis, and the ability to source, interpret and present qualitative and quantitative intelligence.
