- Fabrication, installation, and documentation of cables, trays, and rack assemblies
- Single-phase, three-phase, high-voltage, and low-voltage electrical circuits
- Preparation, soldering, and termination of wire cable harnesses
- Using blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and electronic schematics
- Troubleshooting electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment and presenting technical solutions to address these issues.
- Finding problems using programmable logic controllers (PLC) and communicating with the manufacturing and maintenance team to prevent impact on the equipment.
- Programming instrumentation to relay information to a central HMI
- Testing analog inputs and outputs to ensure accurate calibration.
- Configuration of equipment using PLC interfaces (GE Fanuc, Allan Bradley, Siemens)
- Commissioning of special build equipment, electrically and mechanically.
- Maintaining the quality of all the products, performing incoming and outgoing quality control tests, inspections, and repair of all plant and field equipment.
- Live working at 400V

This position is based 100% at our site in Peterborough.What are the day to day duties?
City And Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
NVQ3 in electrical based units
City and Guilds 2391 – Electrical testing and inspection
Passport to safety or equivalent
Experience in industrial electrical works
