    Role: KS1 Primary Teacher

    Location: Thame (Oxfordshire)

    Part-time- Full-time

    Start: September 2024

As a year school there is a great emphasis on the desire for a year 1 primary teacher to be able to bring a fun approach to teaching to maximise engagement with students in each lesson. This is a brilliant school which is mirrored by their Ofsted rating which they have been able to improve and maintain across the years.

    The ideal candidate: Top of Form

    • Support students with diverse learning needs by employing tailored teaching strategies that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
    • Cultivate independence and social skills among pupils through interactive and collaborative activities, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
    • Attend to pupils' personal care and medical requirements, ensuring a safe and nurturing space that promotes their overall well-being and comfort.
    • Play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of students by implementing programs and activities that encourage physical activity, healthy habits, and emotional resilience.
    • Assist students in improving their literacy and numeracy skills through targeted interventions and personalized approaches, contributing to their overall academic success across a diverse range of subjects in the curriculum

    Qualifications required:

    • Certified teacher (QTS)
    • Preferably taught in early years or primary school
    • Knows the National Curriculum and assessment methods well
    • Works well in teams, communicates effectively, and is organized
    • Committed to ongoing professional growth and loves teaching
    • Focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning space, with good behaviour management
    • Has professional references and an Enhanced DBS check
