    Description
    VP Supply Corp is one of the nation's largest distributors of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical supplies.

    For over 50 years, we have proudly served residential customers as well as contractors and municipalities across a variety of industries.

    Our Plumbing Department is seeking to hire a Counter Sales Associate with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in our Rochester branch.

    For the right candidate, we are willing to be flexible on years of experience and provide internal training.
    VP Supply is a renowned leader in both the plumbing industry.

    Our staff has decades of expertise between them, which we utilize to provide the best customer experience to both commercial and residential clients.

    Meet and greet all customers at point of sale with service, respect, and knowledge.
    Consult with customers to analyze both current and future needs to determine the most appropriate level of service/sales.
    Use company-provided systems to improve planning and collect customer history.
    Provide occasional order picking and miscellaneous warehouse duties, as the need arises.
    1 – 3 years of experience in plumbing industry, with inside/counter sale-oriented background.
    ~ Previous experience in environment with walk-in/call-in customer orders and assisting in plumbing or HVAC related issues.
    ~ Strong computer skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
    ~ Wholesale distribution experience is preferred.
    Applicable sales experience is preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
    This job operates in a retail setting. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
