Receptionist
(full time position)

We are looking for a receptionist for 35 hours per week to be an integral part of our bookings and reception team, helping to provide an effective booking and check in/out service for pilgrim groups, families & individuals staying in our accommodation, ensuring their stay is an enjoyable and spiritually rewarding experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

Taking bookings online, over the phone and in person via the electronic booking system.
Checking visitors in and out of the accommodation and responding to a variety of front desk visitor requirements as well as liaising with other departments on a daily basis.
Operating electronic point of sale tills to process accommodation and restaurant sales, as well as donations and gift shop merchandise.
Being able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Contributing to the overall positive culture of our organisation, which may include occasional working in other areas within the organisation.

This interesting role demands excellent customer service, telephone and IT skills as well as being well organised and self-motivated.

Previous experience desirable. Full induction and training will be given.

Our accommodation is open 7 days a week from March through to December and reception is open from 8am until 8pm.

Pay:
£10.90 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays

An Enhanced DBS Check will be required for this role.
