About us;
We're the Business and Client Banking division, part of Commercial Banking and we work across several business platform areas. Those businesses provide services that millions of customers across the UK rely upon, day-to-day and especially in their time of need.
What will you focus on in this role?
You'll work in a hybrid role, leading the team, mentoring, coaching and developing staff, while the other half of the role will be acting as a very hands-on Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer. The team focuses on Site Reliability, Platform, DevOps and Systems engineering, to build and run large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems.
Our engineers are passionate about ensuring the services, both internal and external have; substantial reliability, uptime appropriate to users' needs, resiliency, architectural simplicity, as well as continually seeking to find improvements.

Much of your focus will be on optimising existing systems on Azure, building new Azure PaaS and IaaS solutions for services currently not running on Azure and eliminating manual work through automation wherever feasible. With us you'll have a key role to play in shaping the financial services of the future, whilst the scale and reach of our Group means you'll have many opportunities to learn, grow and develop.
We keep your data safe. So, we'll only ever ask you to provide confidential or sensitive information once you have formally been invited along to an interview or accepted a verbal offer to join us which is when we run our background checks. We'll always explain what we need and why, with any request coming from a trusted Lloyds Banking Group person.
