They kickstarted their journey in 2015, and since then they've helped millions of people enjoy events all over the UK; whatever size or type of event, they provide a comprehensive end-to-end solution for event organisers, allowing them to not just sell tickets,but to track sales performance, craft a seamless customer journey, and build a valuable and compliant dataset.


While they've been a leading ticketing platform in the student events industry since their inception, they've seen explosive growth across wider industry areas, and they've now got exciting plans to expand into new verticals by building out some brand-newfeatures and taking their offering global.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to play a key role in their marketing team.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will help develop and implement our client's overall marketing strategy and approach, with a particular focus on digital marketing.

You will be a catalyst for multi-channel content creation, working across different formats as well as helping to develop our client's brand and tone of voice.

The marketing manager role is based in their Soho HQ, at least 3 days per week.


Requirements:


  • You're a strong allround marketeer, who loves all things digital.
  • You are social media savvy. You understand how to scale channels organically, know what makes an engaging post and stay on top of the latest trends and platform updates. You like to share that knowledge too.
  • You're a team player with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a fastpaced startup environment.
  • You know how to create great content for B2B and B2C audiences, from LinkedIn posts to TikTok videos.
  • You have great attention to detail, organisation and time management.
  • Analytical, you understand the importance of testing, learning and optimising in marketing.
  • You like going to events

Key responsibilities:


  • Develop original and engaging copy for social posts, blog posts and press releases.
  • Create, A/B test and report on newsletters for event organisers and ticket buyers.
  • Write SEOoptimised copy for the blog and website.
  • Help develop a level of brand continuity and tone of voice in all written materials.
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Liaise with the partnerships, account management, product and technology teams.
  • Offer marketing support to event organisers, promoting their events.

Social Media specific:


  • Plan, develop and implement our social media strategy.
  • Grow the brand's awareness, reach, engagement and following organically.
  • Create engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube.
  • Monitor social media trends, test new features, do social listening and competitor analysis.
  • Report regularly on social media performance and share findings with the team.
  • Support the account management team with community management.
  • Engage with content shared by event organisers and ticket buyers who use the platform.
  • Support with asset creation for organic and paid social media including video.

What we're looking for:


  • 34 years'+ of marketing experience.
  • Excellent copywriting ability with an understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Proven ability to grow social media accounts.
  • Good working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Experience using Google Analytics.
  • Video creation and editing skills.
  • Attention to detail, highly organised, with a strong creative streak.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.

Bonus points for:

  • An understanding of the ticketing and/or the events industry.
  • Marketing experience at another fastgrowing technology company.
