At the moment, we are on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to be part of our client's awesome culinary squad. Situated in the stunning surroundings of the Scottish Borders, our client's luxury resort provides a top-of-the-line experience. Renowned for our outstanding food, top-notch service, and breathtaking vistas, we take pride in crafting lasting memories for our guests.

As a Chef de Partie, you will have a pivotal role in the kitchen, contributing to the preparation of exceptional dishes that meet the highest standards. You'll collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen is a work of art. Your commitment, inventiveness, and eye for detail are crucial in upholding the resort's reputation for culinary excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve top-notch dishes within your section
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating new recipes and menus
Maintain consistent portion sizes and presentation standards
Keep your workstation neat and organized
Follow health and safety rules to guarantee food safety
Coach and guide junior kitchen staff
Cooperate with other departments for seamless service

Criteria:

Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar position in an upscale restaurant or hotel
Deep understanding of culinary techniques and methods
Passion for cooking with strong attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Great communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
