    Public Health Engineer - London, United Kingdom - Arup

    Description
    Our London team are looking for a Public Health Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary Building Engineering design team. You will work on a variety of projects across all sectors including Residential, Rail and Commercial developments.

    These projects will include both new and existing building developments in the UK and abroad and our clients include signature Architects.

    You will have the opportunity of being involved in all elements including calculation, modelling and design of public health engineering systems from concept to tender phase, construction, and handover.

    Being involved in the production of drawings and reports and preparing co-ordinating public health specifications with other members of the design team to ensure delivery to agreed project timeframes and budgets.

    Undertaking a sustainable approach to system design including hot and cold water services, above and below ground drainage, rainwater collection and disposal systems, water conservation and recycling, pollution control and waste management and treatment
    Design of fire suppression systems and gas systems
    Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team

    Has proven background in project work including above and below ground public health and water services design, and fire protection systems.
