A rare opportunity to work in the School Nursing Service term time only 2 days per week as a Health and Wellbeing Assistant.

In Gloucestershire the Health and Wellbeing Assistant will work within the School Nursing Service providing school entry vision screening, National Child Measurement Programme and advice and support for children and families either one to one or in facilitated groups in the community.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a Health and Wellbeing Assistant
Ideally you will have experience of working with children. Good IT skills are essential together with a commitment to developing innovative ways of delivering services. You will receive training and work through competencies and have further opportunities to develop professionally.
Wellbeing of our colleagues is a high priority and as well as support from your line manager and team colleagues we offer a range of workplace benefits. You will be supported through and induction programme and competency based learning programme. There are many opportunities for further learning and training.
In Gloucestershire we are committed to ensuring agile and mobile working. You will have opportunities to work with children and parents face to face and over Microsoft Teams. You will be using software packages to support your screening programmes with small children in schools.
