- A good chemical engineering degree.
- Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards this.
- Solid industry experience, post degree, with direct involvement in the anaerobic digestion (AD) or biogas sectors with experience gained from AD/biogas project development, plant operations, plant management, and/or engineering consulting (this is essential)
- Sound technical knowledge to include AD feedstocks, AD processes, biogas upgrade, biomethane grid injection, and gas transportation.
- Proven experience with the multi-disciplinary delivery of small projects, including budget management and delivery programs.
- Experience of carrying out AD technical due diligence on behalf of investors and/or vendors
- Experience of construction projects and technical contract drafting.
- Good communication skills, with experience of communicating effectively with both engineering and non-engineering skilled audiences.
- Full driving licence and able to travel in the UK, Ireland and occasionally overseas.
- Competent computing skills using MS office suite.
