We have an excellent opportunity for an Underwriter to join our Professional and Management Risks Renewals team here in Leeds.
You will work as a member of a team and be pro-active and willing to help brokers across all classes of business.
Underwriting risks in accordance within own personal level of underwriting authorityCollaborate with the Markel Claims team on complex cases to ensure the best outcomes for our policyholders and Markel
Provide an excellent service to our brokers, prioritising renewals and mid-term adjustments and referrals from the broker e-trading platform or by email/phone to ensure deadlines are met
Assisting the team and wider business with ad hoc projects when required
Proven relevant insurance experience and demonstrable technical skills
A track record in building and developing broker relationships
Good IT skills including MS Office
