This is a SEN Learning Support role based in a specialist provision school in Aylesbury, supporting Autistic Children, who require low support and have well to high, cognitive abilities – a large part of the role is Restorative.
This Special Education Needs LSA (Learning Support Assistant) opportunity, is ideal if you aspire to have a career focussed on Counselling, Men Health, Wellbeing, Criminal, Social or Youth Justice, or looking at elements of social care for example.
Job Title: SEN Assistant Teacher
Location: High Wycombe
Salary Scale: £440 to £500 per week
Start date: April or September
Contract type: Long Term Contract- Permanent contract after an initial trial period to ensure the role and the school is right for you

The Alternative Provision is situated in High Wycombe supporting boys and girls, all who have a range of additional needs associated with social, emotional mental health challenges. It's a secondary provision.
This school offers a restorative, therapeutic approach to education and behaviour management, they want their children engaged in key and personal skills, giving the children skills they can use in and out of school.
As a learning support assistant, you will be working in classes of 3-6 pupils with a staff to student ratio of 1:1
