    The role:


    The St Albans Land Management team have a strong culture for supporting their colleagues to develop and grow their professional skills.

    The team undertake the management of a diverse range of estate businesses in St Albans and the wider region, for varied clients including private families, charitable organisations, and corporate structures.

    They offer a range of specialist professional advice, including valuation and rural business consultancy work. Their technical excellence ensures a strong local reputation and challenging but rewarding work.

    Key Deliverables

    • Deliver the primary day-to-day relationship role with Estate Management clients
    • Managing landlord and tenant relationships for agricultural, commercial and residential properties
    • Estate business administration, including budgeting and financial reporting
    • Leading and collaborating with the work of Estate employees
    • Working with colleagues to providing concise, practical and reasoned advice to Clients

    EXPERIENCE
    A strong affinity with a values based culture and desire to work collaboratively with their colleagues

    Experience in the rural sector from within private practice or resident agent background

    Be commercially astute

    Keen initiative to seek out practical solutions to challenges

    Aspirations to develop leadership skills by taking responsibility within the team

    Good presentation skills

    Excellent people skills

    Person specification

    Qualifications/Key Skills

    Educated to degree level

    Professionally qualified MRICS

    Proficient in the use of Word, Excel & PowerPoint

    Previous experience of working to deadlines
