    Description

    Job Description A hugely exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Developer to join a start-up in Cambridge, and transition into the cutting-edge and futuristic area of quantum computing.

    Working across the stack, we are looking for a software professional proficient in C++ or Rust, who understands the mechanics of how hardware executes software instructions.

    This forward-thinking, highly diverse company welcomes applicants requiring part-time working.

    Cambridge, UK – hybrid working, 3 days in office.

    Requirements for C++ Software Engineer / Developer

    At least 2 years of commercial experience in a software engineering position
    Excellent academics including a 2.Proficient in C++ or Rust
    Scripting ability in Python
    While embedded engineering experience would be beneficial as a minimum you should have an understanding of the mechanics of how hardware executes software instructions
    Responsibilities for Software Engineer / Developer
    Develop and build software components
    Create functional and performance models of hardware for system design processes
    Verify and benchmark system correctness and performance
