    Description

    Job Title:Data Science Engineer (Azure AKS)

    Location: ReadingLondon

    Contract

    PositionOverview: As a Data ScienceEngineer at Company Name you will play a crucial role in developingand deploying advanced data science solutions within the Azureenvironment. Leveraging your expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS) and data science techniques you will collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to build scalable highperformance datascience applications and models.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Design develop and deploy data sciencesolutions within the Azure ecosystem utilizing AKS for containerorchestration.
    • Work closely with data scientistsengineers and stakeholders to understand and translate projectrequirements into technicalsolutions.
    • Implement data pipelines forcollecting processing and transforming large volumes of data usingAzure Data Services (e.g. Azure Data Factory AzureDatabricks).
    • Build and optimize machinelearning models using Azure Machine Learning Service ensuringscalability reliability andperformance.
    • Collaborate with DevOps teams toautomate model deployment monitoring and managementprocesses.
    • Continuously evaluate andintegrate new tools technologies and best practices to enhance thedata science infrastructure andworkflows.
    • Provide technical guidance andsupport to junior team members fostering a culture of knowledgesharing and continuouslearning.

    Qualifications:

    • Qualification in Computer ScienceData Science Engineering or a relatedfield.
    • Proven experience working as aData Engineer Data Scientist or similar role with a focus ondeveloping data science solutions in the Azureenvironment.
    • Strong proficiency in Azureservices including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure DataFactory Azure Databricks Azure Machine Learning Service AzureStorage etc.
    • Handson experience withcontainerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) anddeploying models in productionenvironments.
    • Proficiency in programminglanguages such as Python R SQL and experience with datamanipulation and analysis libraries (e.g. Pandas NumPySciPy).
    • Excellent problemsolving skillsand the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamicenvironment.
    • Strong communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith crossfunctionalteams.

    PreferredQualifications:

    • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g.AWS Google Cloud Platform) is aplus.
    • Knowledge of big data technologiesand frameworks (e.g. Hadoop Spark) isdesirable.
    • Relevant certifications in Azureor data science are aplus.
