    Description
    You will be responsible for a variety of clients, dealing with their full accounting responsibilities.

    You will excel at communicating with clients in a friendly and approachable way, with a view to building long-standing relationships.

    Many of the clients have a limited grasp of accounting and will rely on you to guide them through the process and help them to understand their accounts.


    Accountant Duties:

    • Prepare VAT returns
    • Preparing interim management accounts, to include a P&L and Balance sheet
    • Preparing annual statutory accounts for small companies, sole traders, partnerships and LLP clients
    • Preparing tax computations
    • Meeting all statutory and client deadlines as well as exceeding them
    • Carrying out company secretarial duties on behalf of clients
    • Assisting in the planning and management of the workflow
    • Providing the client with efficient and effective client service at all times Essential:
    • Knowledge of SAGE is essential
    • Good systems skills including MS Excel
    • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
