    Electrical Estimator

    Medium Size Electrical Contractor
    Commercial, Industrial, Residential

    Project Values:
    Up to £5 million

    My client is a well-established medium-size electrical contracting company based in Northampton, specializing in a wide range of projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential developments.

    With a proven track record of excellence, we are committed to delivering high-quality electrical solutions that meet and exceed our clients' expectations.

    As we continue to grow and expand our portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team.

    As an Electrical Estimator at our company, you will play a pivotal role in our project management and cost estimation processes.

    You will be responsible for accurately assessing project requirements, materials, and labor costs for electrical installations across various sectors, with project values of up to £5 million.

    Your experience, attention to detail, and ability to provide accurate estimates will be crucial to the success of our projects.

    Evaluate project requirements and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.

    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information.
    • Review and analyze subcontractor quotes and negotiate terms.
    • Participate in project kick-off meetings to ensure a smooth transition from estimation to execution.
    At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.

    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods.
    • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
    • A degree in electrical engineering or a related field is a plus.
