    Are you a skilled and passionate chef looking for a new opportunity in a picturesque setting? We are seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join our team at our Boutique Spa Hotel in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

    Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside, our privately owned Georgian manor is a haven for relaxation and a base to explore all that Norfolk has to offer. From the splendid sandy beaches of the North Norfolk coast to bustling market towns, nature reserves, and the late Queen's beloved Sandringham Estate, our hotel provides an idyllic retreat for our guests.
    Role Overview:
    As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in our culinary team. You will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests, showcasing the best of Norfolk's local produce. Working in our well-equipped kitchen, you will collaborate with local suppliers, plan enticing menus, and lead a team dedicated to delivering outstanding service.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Plan and create high-quality, innovative dishes, reflecting the hotel's commitment to excellence.
    • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring all culinary standards and procedures are met.
    • Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
    • Collaborate with local suppliers to source fresh, high-quality ingredients.
    • Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end culinary establishment.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of culinary arts, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Creativity and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
