- Cultivate strong and positive relationships with parents and families to ensure a seamless transition between home and nursery life
- Ensure that all children receive engaging experiences which are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Understand and implement the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery
- Promote a culture of self-evaluation and help each team member to reach their potential
- Oversee the day-to-day management, finances and budgets and resourcing throughout the nursery
- Assist with onsite and marketing activities designed to promote the nursery
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification, ideally with leadership qualifications
- Previous experience of working in a childcare setting in a management role
- Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and associated regulatory requirements
- Previous experience of overseeing an Ofsted inspection would be desirable
