- Actively contribute to service delivery, ensuring alignment with the developing focus of Adult Social Care in Sandwell and supporting change and transformation.
- Implement relevant policies and procedures, and cover/deputise for Team Managers within Adult Social Care when needed.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks, Government initiatives, and safeguarding practices related to vulnerable adults or young people transitioning to adulthood.
- Act as a consultant within the team on good practice, emerging research, case law, and relevant policy changes.
- Registered qualified social worker with substantial managerial experience in adult CSWTs or Learning Disability, Autism, and Young Adults Teams.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory frameworks, and Government initiatives related to vulnerable adults or young people transitioning to adulthood.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Enhanced DBS with Children's and Adults Barring List Check.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Adult Social Care team in Sandwell.
The successful candidate will be a registered qualified social worker with substantial managerial experience working within adult Community Social Work Teams (CSWTs) or Learning Disability, Autism, and Young Adults Teams.
Manage the day-to-day activities of the team and support the management team in improving key performance and standards within the service area.
