Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with current experience working for an estate agency and/or property developer in the UK.


There will be a mixture of tasks involved in the role assisting with all departments in both of our offices.

This position will be based in our Birmingham City Centre branch on Colmore Row.


Job Role (_in brief_
)

  • To sell new homes offmarket and onmarket
  • To sell resale property assigned to the City Centre branch
  • Qualifying and managing sales enquiries
  • Conducting viewings and site visits with prospective buyers
  • Conduct buyer meetings to establish motivation and means to purchase
  • Conduct development tours
  • Produce investment summaries and proposals for prospective buyers
  • Sales negotiation
  • Sales progression
  • Business development and networking
  • Cold calling and cold visits
  • Social media marketing, mainly Linked In
  • Client relationship management
  • Collating marketing and sale documents from instructed developers
  • Always Liaising with developer account managers obtaining updated unit availability schedules and relevant documentation
  • Knowledge on any developments in planning in the area and the average ppsf for the area
  • Knowledge of Birmingham City Centre and Edgbaston areas
  • Management of the company new homes listings and offmarket instructions
  • Use current client base and the Company client base to achieve company targets
  • Answering the office phone
  • Assisting and covering staff when required

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working for an estate agency and/or developer
  • Good general knowledge of Birmingham City Centre and Edgbaston areas
  • Willingness to work as a team and assist other team members
  • Ability to work on your own effectively
  • Smart, proactive, enthusiastic, and confident when in an office and public environment
  • Able to work efficiently in a busy office environment
  • Competent with MS Office, outlook, and property management software
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Competent representing the company with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
  • Utilise the company marketing tools to increase the level of opportunities
  • Target driven
  • Education at degree level is preferable but not essential
  • ARLA trained/qualified is preferable but not essential
  • Must have a car and clean driver's license

Salary and Benefits

  • Good starting salary of £25,000 depending on experience (OTE £50,000)
  • High commissions commission structure to be agreed

Hours

  • 9.00 to 5.30 Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday's Saturday hours may change in order to be competitive in the market)
