    Role: Finance Manager GlobalConsumer Goods Business(SME)

    Location:Central London (hybridworking)

    Salary: 65k80k plus bonus and benefits

    TheRole: This opportunity is working for an upcoming and financiallysuccessful and sustainably conscious Consumer Goods business whichhas multiple revenue streams a brilliant brand in the sector and avery exciting strategy for the future. As a crucial member of thefinance team reporting into the Director of Finance. The FinanceManager will be responsible for leading the team and implement thebusiness finance strategy ensuring that the business has highlyeffective finance processes controls and reporting procedures whichin turn will drive efficiency and excellence resulting in businessdelivering a worldclass finance function. You will be required tomanage corporate accounting regulatory and financial reportingbudget and forecasts internal control and the day to day running ofthe finance function.     Roles andResponsibilities:

    • Gototechnical finance person within thebusiness
    • Establish bestinclass monthend processprepare the monthly management accounts and oversee bookkeepingactivities
    • Manage our financial systemspolicies and processes
    • Ensure compliance withfinancial regulations and reporting requirements (such as UKGAAP/IFRS) as well as compliance from a tax perspective across theglobe
    • Maintenance of balance sheet to a veryhigh level of detail. Including: AP/AR balances inventory balancesand accruals and prepayments
    • Prepare theyearend Financial Accounts and liaise with Auditors for both our UKand US entities
    • Implementation and maintenanceof robust internal control systems across the organisation byidentifying problems improving practices and writing newprocedures
    • Support in the preparation of annualbudgets and business forecasts
    • Liaise with 3rdparties where required including accountants auditors banks lenderstax advisers and investors
    • Oversee AP/ARprocesses to ensure consistent and strongcashflows
    • Oversight of company expense policyand approval of employeeexpenses

    Requirements:

    • ACA/ACCA/CIMAqualified professional
    • Previous experience inFood/Retail/FMCG/ desirable
    • An excellentcommunicator with the ability to tell a story and go beyond theanalysis
    • Indepth knowledge of financialreporting
    • Experience in preparing bothstatutory and management accounts and experience of consolidationfor a multientitybusiness
