At Prestwick Service Centre we are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engine nacelles systems and engine components.


Primary responsibilities:


  • Individual job, product and customer profitability analysis
  • Cost analysis
  • Variance analysis on actual v plan v forecast
  • Review of customer contracts
  • Working with Operations to help track and report against targets
  • Provide meaningful data on any emerging trends or to support decisions
  • Fixed Asset reporting
  • Build financial models that provide speed and ease of key financial data
  • Support the month end reporting process
  • Support the forecasting & planning process
  • Key financial contact for consultation and coaching on key business processes
  • Identifying waste within a process and providing innovative solutions
  • Drive a culture of compliance, ensuring our continued high levels of controls
  • Compliance with all RTX policies and procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and International Trade Compliance requirements
  • Proven track record of embracing and driving change
  • Capable of working in a dynamic and fast paced work environment
  • Able to provide a level of flexibility to ensure key deliverables are met in line with strict or tight deadlines
  • Ability to take ownership of key duties, ensuring they are completed to a high standard
  • Experience of managing people is required
  • Excellent technical, analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to understand complex business processes to ensure robust reporting
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of working with all levels of the business
  • Proactive approach for identifying waste and/ issues in a process
  • Experience working in manufacturing would be advantageous
  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office, in particular excel
  • MACRO writing, knowledge of SAP, HFM and Power BI are advantageous
