Project Coordinator

Starting salary:
£25,000 per annum.


Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (40 hours per week). No weekends.

Brackmills, Northampton. Office based with free parking.

Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Northampton.

You'll be working full time - office based at their Head Office, in a small team of circa x6 members.

Our client is an established manufacturing business, supplying most of the well-known brands like Amazon, Royal Mail, McVities, John Lewis and Waitrose and most leading brands that have a distribution centre.


Purpose of your role:

The coordination of all projects through to handover to our client's end customer. Including management of projects to ensure that profit targets are achieved. There is also an element of negotiation with customers relating to any contract alterations that may be required.

The role requires an excellent communicator with strong administration skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple complex projects.


Summary of responsibilities:


  • Ensuring our client meets the installation requirements of their customer's projects.
  • Support the sales team to provide a firstclass customer experience.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people including, but not limited to customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and colleagues.
  • Log enquiries, quotations, and orders within a timely manner as per written procedure.
  • Process new orders ensuring correct information is entered accurately on to the system.
  • Raise purchase orders.
  • Coordinate the deliveries and labour allocations for each project.
  • Handover of project to service department ensuring all documentation is in place as per the process.
  • Maintain accurate records for management reporting.
  • Check invoices from suppliers and subcontractors, highlighting any discrepancies.
  • Respond to customer queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Follow all procedures in accordance with the current process and any future enhancements.
