    We are seeking a talented and inspirational English Teacher, dedicated to bringing literature to life and furthering the journey of our students in their lifelong love of reading and communication.

    We can offer you the opportunity to deliver an ambitious curriculum where we prioritise literacy and where our dedicated English department achieves exceptional outcomes from all year groups. Whatever your career stage, you will be supported to develop further literary knowledge and to enhance your teaching tool kit, so that our students are able to excel as both writers and linguists.     As a standalone academy, we believe in our teachers being able to do the role they are employed to do, which is to deliver engaging lessons to our students. We therefore have an easy and structured behaviour system for our students and you to follow in lessons. After this, we have dedicated teams who intervene and leave you to continue with the job you love doing

    Our Head of English would be delighted to take you on a tour of the school and give you the opportunity to meet the department and answer any questions you may have.

    As Teacher of English, you will be welcomed into an experienced team of creative professionals to:

    · Progress the English department to even greater successes

    · Plan and deliver high quality and engaging lessons that will challenge and inspire our students

    · Encourage our students to have high expectations of themselves and their behaviour

    · Engage students in study at GCSE Level (A-Level is desirable)

    · Be a positive role model and supportive mentor to our students, making a lasting impact on their lives
