This role sits within STS in the Integrated Solutions business unit.Integrated Solutions is the engineering and project delivery group providing services which include front-end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management primarily in the hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.
KBR is looking for a Naval Architect - Installation.As a Naval Architect for KBR you will provide engineering services and technical support for design and analysis related to floating and fixed offshore structures.
This role has a strong emphasis in the installation of fixed offshore structures.As the installation lead you will primarily provide support related to this discipline but may get involved in other areas of naval architecture.
Specific responsibilities are likely to be focused on the installation of topsides modules by crane vessel but may also include jacket launch and set-down and the removal of flotation tanks.
We will look to you to work as a team member, potentially with direct supervision of personnel within the group, as well as working independently in engineering analyses.
The position requires an enthusiastic approach and a strong analytical background to be able to tackle the various challenges related to the installation of fixed structures.
